NEW IN-SCHOOL CPD OPTIONS FOR 2011-2012: Have an Education Conference in your own school!
Many teachers go to national educational conference events, such as the TES Education events and the NEC Education Show, to attend two or three seminars on different topics.
Dr Mark has delivered many well-reviewed short seminars at such events since 2001, and continues to do so. In fact, you can read what TES say about Dr Mark’s seminars in a testimonial letter (click TSL) for more information).
Inspired by his experience of and contributions to these and other national conference events, from January 2012, Dr Mark will be teaming up with his wife Nikki to offer a range of short ‘Personal & Professional Development’ seminars you can have in your own school, choosing two or three seminars in one school-length day, or one or two in a half day, as well as shorter seminar versions of Dr Mark’s current maths and science CPD options. Dr Mark’s wife Nikki was formerly a director for a national bank (before the ‘crisis’), with experience of staff management, training and professional development. Nikki has since undergone a rather dramatic career-change and re-trained in medicine, health and well-being. Since Dr Mark also has experience of supervisory management and staff development, and training in cognitive and behavioural science, together they are developing this range of new staff development seminars designed specifically for teachers and classroom staff.
